The following are selected initial-complaint reports filed by Shakopee police.

Two Bloomington men were arrested at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday for burglary at the Ace Hardware store at 485 Marschall Road S., Shakopee.
The men, ages 26 and 21, were expected to be charged with second-degree burglary and criminal damage to property.
The Three Rivers Park District Board of Commissioners will meet at 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7 at Lowry Nature Center, located in Carver Park Reserve, 7025 Victoria Drive in Victoria.

Shakopee's Chase Hentges picked up his first professional victory on Friday, July 25 when he pitched three innings. He gave up two hits and struck out three.
This summer Hentges has appeared in seven games for the Surprise Royals. He has pitched 10 innings, given up 12 hits, three earned runs, struck out six, walked one and has an ERA of 2.70. His record is 1-0 with two saves.
The victim in the Valleyfair assault case has severe eye damage from being beaten to unconsciousness after defending his 15-year-old daughter on Fourth of July at the Shakopee amusement park. He could possibly never fully regain his sight in that eye, a prosecutor said this morning.
In light of this new medical information, Scott County District Court Judge Michael Fahey approved a request to upgrade the assault charge against the first defendant in the case, whom, if convicted, would have to serve his time in prison
The Derby Days Medallion was found this morning at the community skate park at about 10:45 a.m.
Justin Larkin, wife Betsy Stafford-Larkin and their son, Noah Stafford, 9, found the $200 prize.
Justin said the medallion was found under a piece of bark.
Justin said his wife actually figured out where the treasure was. In fact, he said, she figures out the location of the prize each year -- but that the family just never follows through in looking for it.
Not this year.
Text-messaging, emailing or accessing the Web on a wireless device while driving — including while stopped in traffic — is illegal on Minnesota roads effective Friday. The violation can cost up to $300 and applies to drivers of all ages. As a primary offense, law enforcement can stop a motorist if they observe a violation of the new law.
