Motorists will encounter delays and a detour on Interstate Highway 494 in Bloomington and Richfield as lane closures take place today and Monday morning between Interstate Highway 35W and Portland Avenue.

The work schedule was changed due to last night's rain.

Westbound I-494 will be reduced to two lanes at 11 p.m. today. All lanes will re-open by 5 a.m.

Monday.

A posted detour will direct eastbound I-494 motorists to northbound Interstate 35W, to eastbound Highway 62, to southbound Highway 77 and back to I-494.
