To get to know Anthony Daniels, you have to get to know C-3PO.
The fourth floor of the Science Museum of Minnesota in St. Paul will be home to the exhibit "Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination" from June 13 through Aug. 24. Daniels, the British actor who plays the droid in all six of the "Star Wars" movies, entertained questions from the Twin Cities media while sitting in a director's chair positioned in front of a display case housing the original costume molded from his body.

Although I've appreciated blogging from time to time on this Web site, I don't think the people of Shakopee will appreciate my ramblings about Jordan as much as the people of Jordan will.
My darling and lovable wife called a few minutes ago. A minute later, she said she had to stop talking to me because she was going to pump gas. It's $2.42 here, she said.
I've just been informed that it will be Sportsmen Against Hunger Week Nov. 13-19. I guess they have a special week for everything now.

My stomach is still full from yesterday's breakfast. I've only eaten two meals since then.
My first time staying overnight at the Nicolin Mansion Bed & Breakfast was awesome. Better than expected, even. Terri and Kevin Knox are exceptional hosts, and the place -- if you've ever been to the historic house in Jordan, you know -- is a treasure.
The Jordan Legion won in the state tournament last weekend. Congrats to Steven Beckman and the rest of a fine, young team that shows the promise to carry on a city's tradition of winning baseball.
I don't live in Jordan, but I work here. And you still make me proud.
In preparation for Heimatfest, the Jordan Independent is working on a series of Q&A's with owners of classic cars.
Bill Busch met with me this morning -- on only 20 minutes of notice, nonetheless. He happily showed off his Ford Galaxie. It looks like it has a convertible top, and its stuffed dice hang mightily in the window. Thanks for your time, Busch.
In Jordan, the Heimatfest medallion hunt is on.
The first clue was released on Aug. 3, and more will be released -- one a week -- until someone one finds the gold medallion bearing the rendition of a German beer-drinker.
