We have 2 kids. One goes to daycare everyday and our son normally goes to daycare just in the summer and on the scheduled days off. Our daycare provider always has an opening for him so on the snowday, he went to day care too.
I also have the option of working from home in cases like that. I still took the kids to daycare however so I could get my work done from home.

Wow! Lucky you. For many parents, it's not so easy. It certainly causes headaches when schools let out early.
