Trae Daniel Peterson
Memorial Benefit
Saturday, April 19, 2008
Trae Daniel Peterson was taken by ambulance to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis on Friday, January 4, 2008, where he was diagnosed with Pneumococcal Meningitis. The infection spread very rapidly, causing severe brain damage. Trae passed away just two days later on Sunday, January 6. He was 13 years old. Club 57 in Waseca, MN will be hosting a benefit to help Trae’s family to cover expenses incurred while Trae was at Children’s Hospital, as well as funeral expenses. Events for the day include a live auction starting at 4pm with Auctioneer services provided by Doug Jones of Waseca, as well as live entertainment in the evening beginning at 8pm, provided by KickTin out of Mankato. Sandwich baskets will be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the memorial fund. Donations for the live auction are being accepted at Club 57 in care of Jeremiah Miller, the manager, or to arrange pick up of an item, please contact Nicki Blowers at 507-461-3205 or blowers@myclearwave.net. Ideas for donations are gift certificates for goods or services, products from your business, or even a gift basket of items put together by a group of people. No donation is too small, and all will be greatly appreciated! However, we do ask that donated items be new and unused. We thank you in advance for your generosity!
