I completed the Chicago Marathon in 1998 (my first and only marathon) and I remember it being cool at the start but definitely not at the end -- and that was with the weather being typical for October in the Midwest.

I can't imagine taking part in a marathon with temperatures and weather conditions what they were in Chicago or here -- which wasn't much better.

Would you have wanted to go on if you were in the Chicago race? Did you participate in and/or finish the Twin Cities Marathon?
