On the Beat: Music and Live Entertainment



My name is Nate Douglas, and I'm a local musician and guitar instructor. I thought it would be interesting to start a group for discussing the live music scene here in the valley and maybe meet other musicians, and review bands playing around town. -Or just talk music in general.

Shakopee is a vibrant town with an exciting night life that offers great live music. Please share your live music experiences, review a band, or just talk music in general. The only rule in this group is to keep discussions strictly to music. So, if you want to review a top 40 hit; you're welcome to do so.

Too Much Abuse...Save the Ellipses!

I can't explain it, but lately it seems like I have been reading a lot of people's blogs and I would like to take some time and write out two things I find really annoying. I don't know if this is becoming an epidemic, or if it's just remarkable luck but it seems like people are starting to do two things I find really distracting. In my opinion, these are the kind of mistakes that will discredit anyone as a writer.
