Fur Trappers in Belle Plaine

Kids under foot? Kind of bord? Looking for something to do something different?

Pack the kids up and head over to Belle Plaine.

Belle Plaine Historical Society is having an event this weekend that is very interesting indeed!

They have people in period costumes for when Minnesota was first settled. These were men and women who braved a new frontier and trapped for a living. They have various games that they played when the early settlers were there also a museum where you can see the artifacts that were found around our area. Tents are displayed to show you how they lived and cooked in the wilderness…

They have a few stands where you can buy leather goods or even artifacts like arrow heads or knifes that were found.

I think you as well as the kids will find it enjoyable and something different to do.

You can bring a picnic lunch as there is a picnic area near by where you can have a light snack and the kids can play on the swings and slides.

Give it a try, I would love to see you all in Belle Plaine!
