The best summer job I had

The best summer job I had during high school/college was waitressing at a golf course. Their busy season and holiday banqueting season matches with summer vacation and winter break.
I was able to work during my months off and not work during the school year. They had positions for wait staff, banqueting, table busing, concessions on the course and sales positions in the pro shop.
It hands down was my favorite part-time job - I still miss it sometimes!

Valleyfair is having a spring job fair Saturday, April 5 from noon to 7 p.m. at Valleyfair's Stadium Pizza & Grill. Applicants must be 16 or older. Those who are under age 16 or who cannot attend the job fair can apply online at valleyfair.com, or call human resouces at 952-496-5359.

There may be fewer jobs this summer because of the economy, but the best bet is start looking now. Good luck to her.

Valley Fair is a good summer gig. How about the driving a cart filled with refreshments for a golf course. Try to get into a private one - probably pays more.

I dont know any websites off hand but I think murphys landing, Valley fair, Raceway park and Shakopee Rec offer some jobs to younger folks

Does anyone know of a website that would help my 16 year old daughter find a summer job? There hasn't been much in the newspaper with companies looking for seasonal employment. Thanks.
