No anger here. And besides, I would prefer to hug my kids and heat my house with a tree burning stove : )

Arbour Day is the true

Arbour Day is the true conservation day reminder. Earth Day was created by environmnetal extremists that hate the American way of life. They use the public schools to terrify the students about environmental catastrophe that will never happen. Trust me, myself and the other kids that went to Shakopee elementary schools in the 70's were subject to this type of junk education. The dutiful teachers scared the hell out of us by telling us the next ice age was coming because the air was so dirty. Imminent ice age, recycling, global warming is all a hoax perpeprated by people that stand to make money in the deal. Al Gore is making lots of money off of gullible people that buy carbon off sets. To me, that is evil.

I think Earth Day is a good

I think Earth Day is a good reminder for everyone that reusing and recycling items is far less wasteful than simply tossing everything we are done with in the trash. It's also the perfect time to set aside stuff for a garage sale which is like recycling for cash.

Earth Day is not a holiday.

Earth Day is not a holiday. It is a day designed to make Americans feel guilty for the way they live. I feel no guilt when I am driving my big SUV or when I DO NOT recycle. Sorry, I know that may shatter some people's paradigms or contradict what they have been brainwashed to believe. Don't get me going on the myth of global warming or how climate change is somehow mans fault and that only man can prevent it. So, to answer the question, no, everyday is not earthday at my childrens house.

I don't know if they actually do anything special, but at my sister's house, she always says Earth Day is her favorite holiday. She does have an organic garden and she uses a lot of "green" home interior items, including rugs of all-natural fibers.
