Asian gangs will pay cash for homes. They convert the home to a total marihuana grow operation. They use it for a couple of years and potentially make millions of the sale of marihuana. Then, they will sell the house. If the housing market is good, they will sell the home for more than what they originally purchased it for. And from the outside, it looks like a quiet Asian person (or couple)is living in the house. At the same time, they will have a stash house. Which is a normal appearing house where they stash the marihuana while in transit to be sold. Obviously this guy had the stash house. However, there is another house somewhere in the area where this stuff was grown. This type of operation is big on the west coast and will probably become more prevelent in the midwest in a couple years.

After tracking a big delivery of drugs to the Wal-Mart parking lot in Shakopee, drug task force agents say they seized 130 pounds of marijuana from a home in a quiet Savage neighborhood this spring with help from two federal agencies and the Shakopee and Savage police departments.
