Nothing in Shakopee, thank goodness, but I drove through Chicago and Lake in Minneapolis today. Sure, there is some essential road construction going on and streets are closed in the area, but there were also some balloons, music, Cinco de Mayo nonsense, street dancing and people having too much fun. It took me an extra 15 minutes to get through the area and raised my blood pressure.
Shakopee has absolutely nothing comparable.... yet.
