Let's see how Mr. Canny

Let's see how Mr. Canny breaks his promises to the community now. Sorry, I experienced his tenure as principal. I saw many comments in support of him, from people that didn't have students in the district during his tenure. (and comments of support from teacher that don't even reside in the city).

He was big on stating when he was a principal how he would work for the students in his building, the next year he quit. Broken promise..no follow through. Hopefully he has changed.

Will miss Mr. Unseth. You did a great job.

Bother me? Maybe a little.

Bother me? Maybe a little. Surprising? Not at all. I have to hand it to anyone that might seek these positions. I'm sure there is considerable stress and abuse that comes with the territory when dealing with the population at large. Probably even more so these days with the population expanding such as it has. A lot more people would probably like to file for these seats, but you sure would have to think twice. Luckily, there are plenty of other people helping the community in varied ways without having to run for elected office.

Does it bother anyone else

Does it bother anyone else that there are only two people running for mayor and two people running for the two open seats on city council? I would have hoped more people would be interested in creating the future of Shakopee. Any thoughts?
