Chad Kling is someone I have

Chad Kling is someone I have known since the earliest days of grade school. We grew up blocks away from each other but the most important thing to say about Chad is his great spirit and charm. He’s one of the very few people I ran into all the time since his move to Shakopee and since he started working at the post office in town, he would see me waiting in the customer queue blended in with a bunch irritated or impatient nobodies and stop his task and in his own words, “Hey Nate, what’s up? Or “How ya dooin?” The point is Chad always did things to others especially those he knew to make them feel special and important.

In the last year, I have seen Chad quite a bit. Even running errands or at any Shakopee gas station, we crossed paths a lot and I’m very confused as to what happened. I don’t know what led up to his death and for some reason I feel very cheated and robbed of someone I consider a childhood friend. I also feel that maybe there was something I could have done to help him if he was suffering from a depression.

Chad was a great person and he will be missed.

We will miss Trae a great deal, but find strength in hearing how much he meant to other people. Thank you for your message and be sure to let your daughter know that she is someone special for accepting Trae for who he was.
Sincerely,
Melinda Peterson, Trae's Aunt

I just wanted to give my condolences to Joshua's family for his loss. I loss my nephew on January 7th, 2008 to Menengitis. I saw Joshua's obituary and saw that he was a young man with a family of his own. I am grateful that he was brave enough to fight in a war, but feel terrible that you all have to continue life with him. I hope that his child will grow up listening to the memories of her father. We are having a difficult time dealing with our loss, I just want you to know that others are feeling your pain and know that he is going to meet someone amazing in heavan, his name is Trae. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. I hope that you find the strength and faith to persevere. Aunt of Trae, Melinda Peterson

Cy was a great man of wisdom

Cy was a great man of wisdom with an open mind the ability to look ahead and see the possible out comes for an action yet taken. He did this with every brick he placed, every chimney made, every one he met. With his kind words of wisdom, humor and much love he will surely be missed.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Bill was a special person and will be greatly missed.

I worked with Bill at the Bank back in the mid 70's while attending college. At that same time my brother was a team mate of one of yours at Augsburg. He was the starting center on the football team.

After I graduated and moved to Shakopee, Bill would stop by my office from time to time just to chat and keep in touch. Also saw him at the golf coarse or around town a couple of times a year.

Always had a smile on his face and a few words of encourament to pass my way.

Once again, I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

My fiance and I recently

My fiance and I recently built a new home and James helped us with our finances. Just yesterday, we recieved a thank you letter in the mail with a handful of James's personal buisiness cards. My fiance and I were excited to share his cards with anyone we knew who needed financial advise. He was a genuinely honest man who took pride in helping others succeed. We have been in our house now for over a month and James called last week just to see how things were going and to see if we needed help with anything. James was not only a mortgage broker to us, he became our mentor and friend. He will be greatly missed by everyone. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

A friend of ours is a friend of the Nagel's, I believe it was a brain tumor (or cancer). So sad, prayers go to his family.

I don't want to be insensitive. The natural question that comes to mind is, how did these young people -- ages 38, 42, and 52 -- die.

The words no one wants to read about their children are: So-and-so "was preceded in death by his parents." I'm truly sympathetic.
