The Scott Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) has a small variety of tree seedlings still available for landowners interested in planting trees this spring. The trees that the SWCD sells are primarily used for conservation and erosion control purposes, but can be used in housing developments or community beautification projects. This will be the last opportunity to purchase trees in 2008 from the District. Trees will be available for pickup Friday, April 18th from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 19th from 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon at the Scott County Fairgrounds in Jordan. | ||
