Leon P. Breeggemann
Leon Breeggemann, 82, of Shakopee, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009 at St. Gertrude’s Health Center, Shakopee.

He was born in Marystown on Sept. 28, 1927 to Henry and Elizabeth (Dietrich) Breeggemann. He married Margaret Jacobs on Nov. 15, 1955 in Carver. Leon was a member of St. Anthony Society of Marystown of the Catholic Aid Association. Leon served in the United States Army during the time of the Korean War and was a member of the Shakopee V.F.W. 4046 in Shakopee. A retired farmer, he was also a member of the American Dairy Association.
Survived by wife, Margaret; four sons and three daughters, Paul (Cynthia), Ronald (Pamela), all of Chaska, Timothy (Sandra), David (Annmarie), Debra (Gerard) Theis, all of Shakopee, Susan (Richard) Buetow of Cologne, Nancy (Patrick) Link of Shakopee; 25 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters and two brothers, Loretta Solheid of Belle Plaine, Albert (Helen) Breeggemann, Donald (Marian) Breeggemann, all of Shakopee, Mary (Richard) Klehr of Belle Plaine; sisters-in-law, Severin and Dorothy Breeggemann, both of Shakopee; many other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Roman, Frank, Joseph, Clarence and infant brother, Lawrence; sisters, Rosanna Theis and Alvira Menke.
Visitation was Friday, Dec. 4 from 4-8 p.m. at St. Mary of the Purification Catholic Church, Marystown.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Dec. 5, at 1 p.m. at St. Mary of the Purification Catholic Church, with the Rev. James Schoenberger and the Rev. Peter Wittman officiating. Matt, Scott, Caleb and Zachery Breeggemann, Nathan Theis and Ryan Buetow served as pallbearers. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Marystown. Military honors were provided by the Shakopee Veterans Memorial Unit.

Clariet Lois Jacobson
Clariet (Clement) Jacobson, 82, of Prior Lake, passed away Friday Dec. 4, 2009 at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina.
Clariet Jacobson
Clariet was born Sept. 28, 1927 at Terrebonne, Minn. Her parents were Theodore and Mae Clement. She married Milton Jacobson on Aug. 25, 1951 at Minneapolis.
Clariet was charismatic and creative, but was best known mostly for her loving and nurturing ways. Clariet enjoyed ballroom dancing; she was a former instructor for Arthur Murray. She had a special knack for fashion and the arts. She enjoyed many things, including playing cards (especially bridge), golfing, tennis, playing the piano, doing seamstress work, her Bible study group, her love for animals, and traveling with her husband Milton. She enjoyed socializing, especially her weekly visits to Sarah Care.
She is loved and forever missed by children, Janet Davis of Prior Lake, Judith (John) Jacobson-Williams of Minneapolis, Jill (Larry) Schommer of Prior Lake, Stuart (Kimberly Matson) Jacobson of Shakopee, Paul Jacobson of Prior Lake; grandchildren, Jessica Jacobson, Michael C. Jacobson, Chelsea (Erica) Jernall, Jesse (Melissa) Davis, Desirae (Dusty) Feldten, Shayna Davis, Matthew Davis, Angela (Tyrone) Johnson, Danielle Williams, Luke (Abigail) Schommer, Katherina Schommer, Nicholas Schommer, Jacob Schommer, Kyle Matson Pidde; 19 great-grandchildren; brothers, James (Shirley) Clement of Pequot Lakes, Allen (Kathy) Clement of Grand Forks, N.D., Daniel (Judy) Clement of Cross Lake, Minn.; sister, Darlene (Bayford) Leighton of Maplewood.
She is preceded in death by husband, Milton Jacobson; son, Michael Jacobson; grandson, Nathan Davis; parents, Theodore and Mae Clement; sister, Shirley Sande.
Visitation was Thursday, Dec. 10, from 4-8 p.m. at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Prior Lake, and also at the church one hour prior to services.
Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, Dec. 11, at 10:30 a.m. at Church of St. Michael, Prior Lake. Interment at Credit River Cemetery, Prior Lake.
