Constance Morris

Constance Morris, 71, born June 9, 1937, died Sept. 3, 2008.

She is survived by sisters, Lois Weeks of Windom Minn. and Sharon Ferry of Shakopee; brother, David Fadness of Ruthton, Minn.; many nieces and nephews.

Harold Hueser

Harold Hueser, 82, formerly of Shakopee, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008 at the Veterans Hospice Center in Spokane, Wash. He was born Dec. 17, 1925 and was a veteran of World War II.

Harold is survived by wife, Violet Hueser; daughter, Debbie Albough; son, Dale Hueser; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Polly (Harlan) Luebke, Annette (Glenn) Willmsen, Deanna (John) Hergott, all of Shakopee, Eileen Busse of Prior Lake; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by mother, Mabel Rosengren; father, Henry Hueser; sister, Helen Brinkhaus; brother-in-law, Jerry Busse.

Mildred M. Unterburger

Mildred Unterburger, 81, of Shakopee, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008 at St. Gertrude’s Health Center, Shakopee.

She was born in Cologne, Minn. on Sept. 22, 1926 to Robert and Mary (Schneider) Fritz. She was a homemaker.

Survived by daughters, Marion (Henry) Snell of Watertown, S.D., Sandy (Fran) Carlton-Krueger of Nisswa, Pam (Kirwin) Osborn of Chanhassen; eight grandchildren, Bob Snell, Paul Snell, Vicki Good, Jason Snell, Jeff Snell, Sally Carlton, Renee Osborn, Amanda Osborn; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Verna Mae Jensen of Burnsville. Preceded in death by husbands, Melvin Snell and Howard Unterburger; parents; seven brothers and sisters.

Private family services were held at Mount Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church in Shakopee, with the Rev. Mark Schwertfeger officiating. Private family interment was at the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Prior Lake.

The family prefers memorials to Mount Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church, 12700 Marystown Road, Shakopee, Minn. 55379.

Dorothy R. Ryan

Dorothy Ryan, 87, of Shakopee, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.Dorothy RyanDorothy Ryan

Dorothy was born in Eureka Township, Dakota County, Minn. on July 28, 1921 to Calvin and Eulalia (Gleisner) Pool. She married John P. Ryan on Nov. 27, 1941 in Lakeville. Dorothy was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church Council of Catholic Women. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Poor Claire Monastery, Bloomington.

Survivors include children, Gerald (Gloria) McLaughlin, Patrick (Doraine) Ryan, Dorothy (Don) Boatman, Roland (Nancy) Ryan, Darlene (Mike) Weinzirl, Mary (Bob) Dixon, James (Shawn) Ryan, John R. Ryan, Gerald Ryan, Cheryl Ryan; 25 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Myrtle Oldenburg.

Dorothy was preceded in death by husband, John P. Ryan; sons, Kenneth and Robert; grandchildren, Brandon Ryan and Debra Ann Weinzirl; parents; brother, Frank Pool.

Visitation is Friday, Sept. 19, from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 20, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the McNearney Funeral Home, 1220 East Third Avenue, Shakopee.

Mass of Christian Burial is on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Shakopee, with the Rev.William F. Stolzman officiating. Pallbearers include Jeff, Wade, Jordan, and Josh Ryan, Nathan Davis, Jason Dixon and James Weinzirl. Interment at Catholic Cemetery, Shakopee.

Glorianna L. Dubbe

Glorianna Dubbe, 81, of Jordan, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008 at her home.

Glorianna was born Sept. 24, 1926 at Seavey, Minn. Her parents were Pastor John and Gloria (Berwald) Beck.

She is survived by husband, Roger Dubbe of Jordan, children, Trudy Joy and Pastor Joel Schmalz of Wausau, Wis., Norma Jean and Bill Kammerlohr of Springfield, Ill., Cheryl Ann and Clint Souligny of Portland, Ore., James Roger and Julie Dubbe of Jordan, Rodney Paul Dubbe of Elko and Kimberly Taylor, Ruth Marie and George Brandon of Dallas, Texas, favorite son, Steve Auchstetter; 20 grandchildren; great-grandchild of Rawlins, Wyo.; siblings, Johanna and Harlan Muehring of Tempe, Ariz., Dr. William and Geri Beck of Dana Point, Calif., Rosemary and Clifford Dietrich of Hickory, N.C., Wally and Betty Beck of Grand Island, Neb., Pastor John and Barbara Beck of Middletown, Conn., Lowell and Maxine Beck of Clearwater, Minn., Gloria and Robert Becker of Tampa, Fla.; nieces, nephews and friends.

She was a member of prayer and bible study groups. She taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and Confirmation class. Glorianna attended school at Concordia University, Seward, Neb., and Mankato State University. She graduated in nursing from Dakota County Vo-Tech and she was a substitute teacher at Jordan Public Schools. Glorianna enjoyed studying her bible, encouragement through correspondence, gardening, traveling, embroidery and sewing, communicating and caring for people.

Visitation was Friday, Sept. 12, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Prior Lake, from 5-8 p.m. and also at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Funeral was held Saturday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Fish Lake, Prior Lake, with the Rev. Dr. Harald Schoubye presiding. Interment at Fish Lake Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Richard E. Rau

Richard “Dick” Rau, 78, of Prior Lake, passed away Monday, Sept. 15, 2008 at his home.Richard RauRichard Rau

He was born March 1, 1930 to parents Arthur and Kathryn (O’Keefe) Rau in St. Cloud. He graduated in 1949 from Shakopee High School and served our country in the U.S. Air Force from 1950-1954. He attended the University of Minnesota and graduated in 1956. He enjoyed golf, sports and his grandchildren, Natalee, Amanda, Jacob and Elizabeth Chromy and Mitchell Krueger. He worked as an insurance broker for 50 years and was past president and 25 year member of the Prior Lake Lions Club. He was a lifetime member of the Prior Lake V.F.W. Post 6208. He married Joanne (Olson) Rau on Nov. 30, 1957. Together they had five children, Kelley (Dave) Chromy of Prior Lake, Kimberly of Sun City West, Ariz., Karen (Matt) Krueger of Longville, Jeffrey (deceased) and David of Waconia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Kathryn Rau; brothers, Ronald and Jerome Rau.

Visitation was Wednesday, Sept. 17, from 4-7 p.m. at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Prior Lake, and also one hour prior the service at church. Mass will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. at Church of St. Michael, Prior Lake, with Father Sieg presiding. Pallbearers will be Dave Chromy, Matt Krueger, Natalee Chromy, Amanda Chromy, Jacob Chromy, Elizabeth Chromy. Final resting place will be at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, Prior Lake.
