Funeral services for Jeff Gravon, the head boys’ basketball coach at New Prague who died Wednesday morning after a two-year battle with cancer, will be at noon Saturday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in New Prague.

Visittation will be from 9 a.m. to noon at the church prior to the service.

Burial will be at noon Monday in Worthington, followed by a service at 1:30 p.m. ay First United Methodist Church, with visitation at the church one hour prior to the service.

Gravon, head coach of the Trojans since 2002, coached his final game last Friday when his team defeated Waconia, but his health took turn for the worse last weekend.

Assistant coach Tim Dittberner will assume head coaching duties starting with the Trojans' game tonight at home against Shakopee. New Prague's game scheduled Saturday at Austin has been postponed until 7 p.m. Jan. 31.
