Boy band Select Three, which was featured in the Shakopee Valley News last December, has made it to the second round of Fox 9 Television’s 2009 Battle of the Bands competition. 

Second round voting began today. 

Each person can cast one vote per hour until July 8.  

Voters will be automatically entered to win Wing Street Wings for a year.

Select Three is managed by Shakopee resident Wally Schmelz. Its members, who all happen to be from Minnesota, were selected as part of a nationwide search for America's next new boy band.
