YahooCome see how early tradesmen and women shaped the history of Minnesota on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 2 and 3 at Murphy’s Landing in Shakopee.
Visit the many artisans polishing their skills at Eagle Creek Village: From blacksmithing to woodworking and spinning to weaving, see how lives in early Minnesota were sustained by the tools of the trade. Take a ride on a trolley pulled by Percheron draft horses and play games.
There will be a special appearance by musician Ross Sutter on both days and gift shop and food service will be available for purchase.
Cost is $8.50 for ages 12 and older and $7 for ages 3 to 11 and seniors. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
