The Miss MN Valley/Queen of the Seasons Program is having a Scott/Carver County Past to Present Royalty Banquet on Friday, Nov. 6 at the Shakopee Knights of Columbus Hall, 1760 Fourth Ave. E. The program will start at 6 p.m., and turkey dinner served at 6:30.

Organizers are inviting anyone from the following programs: Miss Shakopee, Miss Jordan, Miss Savage, Miss Belle Plaine, Miss Shamrock, Miss German, Miss Elko/New Market, Miss Prior Lake, Miss New Prague; Miss Scott County Dairy, Pork, Fair; or anyone who was "other" royalty but lived in the Scott and Carver County area.

Also, organizers ask that anyone with fun and memorable royalty stories to write them down and bring pictures, photo albums, and memorabilia to share with everyone.

Kathy Klehr of the Scott County Historical Society and Wendy Biorn of the Carver County Historical Society will be special guest speakers at the event.

Tickets are $15 each, with $5 being donated to the Miss MN Valley/Queen of the Seasons Scholarship Fund.

This event is also open to family and friends.
