The No. 1-ranked Shakopee Sabers will go for their third consecutive state 3A volleyball championship today against Wayzata at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul at 5 p.m.

The Sabers advanced to the finals Friday after beating Stillwater 3-0 in the Class 3A seminfinals. The Sabers (31-0) beat Stillwater 25-17, 25-18 and 25-10.

Wayzata (24-8) outlasted Burnsville in the other semifinal match, 15-25, 25-19, 25-20, 19-25, 15-13.

The Sabers won their quarterfinal match Thursday 3-0 against Centennial, 25-17, 26-16 and 25-22.
