Scott County’s Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is seeking volunteers to help in the event of a public health emergency. An upcoming orientation is planned for new volunteers.
These orientation sessions will help volunteers understand how they can help their communities respond to local, regional and national public health emergencies.
The orientation will be Tuesday, April 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Scott County Government Center, 200 Fourth Ave. W., Shakopee.
Scott County Medical Reserve Corps is open to any adult residing in Scott County. In an emergency, needed will be health professionals and mental health professionals as well as volunteers who do not have a medical background.
