Area girls interested in joining Girl Scouts are invited to attend on of two new member events.

One is at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16 and the other is at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20. Both will take place at the Log Cabin/Youth Building at Lions Park, 1101 S. Adams St. in Shakopee.
