Friends and family members of Shane Bauer gathered at Memorial Park Sunday in recognition of three American hikers' 100th day in detention in Iran. The three were arrested for illegally crossing the border July 31, 2009.

Shakopee High School celebrated National Mix It Up Day Tuesday. The theme, "Passport to the World," invited students to visit booths from different continents to learn about their culture. Here are some photos from the event.

More than 125 runners competed in the first ever Jack-O-Lantern 5K, sponsored by the Shakopee Parks and Recreation, on Halloween. The 5K was followed by a kids' fun run. See photos here.
