The Shakopee girls cross country team finished sixth at the Class 2A state cross country meet on Saturday in Northfield.
The Sabers finished with 204 points. Eden Prairie won the state title with 48 points.
Eighth-grader Maria Hauger finished ninth overall with a time of 14:48.7.

The Shakopee boys had two runners in the boys state meet race with sophomore Trent Lusignan finishing 39th overall with a time of 16:19.9. Fellow Saber sophomore Nick Lindstrom was 62nd overall in 16:41.
