Reference Thursday's hard copy of the paper on the story about a dog attack at Huber Park. A woman's dog was attacked and killed by another dog running loose. The woman was with her grand daughter, I believe, and luckily the girl was not injured. Not so for the woman though. It's time to get tough with irresponsible dog owners. The dog should be destroyed. The owner should go to jail, pay any and all expenses related to the incident (replacing the woman's dog, medical, etc.) and be barred from ever owning another dog.
