The annual Shakopee Showcase, which provides an opportunity for residents to learn what is available in Shakopee, has been scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. March 18 at Canterbury Park. Local businesses and organizations are welcome to request a space at this year’s showcase.

The exhibit space is free for non-profit and civic groups and $40 for businesses. Each exhibitor will get one 8-foot table and two chairs. Reservation forms are available at www.ci.shakopee.mn.us [1] or by calling (952) 233-9500. Exhibit reservation forms are due by March 4. Exhibitors will receive a confirmation letter and set-up information by March 14.

Exhibitors are responsible for providing their own signage and decorations. It is permissible to hand out novelty items promoting services, offer door prizes and collect customer information. However, exhibitors are asked not to sell merchandise during the showcase.

This is the 34th year the Shakopee Showcase has been offered. In 2007, more than 100 businesses and organizations shared information with approximately 1,600 people.
