A Shakopee man was killed Sunday night when his motorcycle crashed into a car that turned in front of him on Highway 212 and County Road 47 in Carver County, about two miles west of Chaska, according to the State Patrol.

Ronald M. Woodward, 52, died in the crash, according to the State Patrol. Woodward was driving his motorcycle eastbound on Highway 212. The 20-year-old driver of the car, Evan W. Buckingham of Eagan, was westbound on Highway 212 and was turning left to southbound County Road 147 when the car went into the path of the motorcycle. The crash occurred at 9:33 p.m., the State Patrol said.
