A Shakopee couple took the plunge into wedded bliss at Grand Casino Hinckley on March 21. Kevin and Treva Prestegord exchanged vows in a ceremony that took place by the slot machines at the Silver Sevens Lounge.

“When we heard Treva’s story, we couldn’t resist helping her,” said Becky Buster, vice president of marketing for Grand Casino Hinckley. “We wanted to make sure that this day was just as memorable for them as it was for us. We certainly wish Kevin and Treva all the luck in the world.”

As avid gamers, they became true believers of the saying “lucky in love” after their first date – which took place at the casino.

“We had so much fun that we made a promise to make it back for our anniversary each year,” said Treva. “Once we started talking about our future, we knew that Grand Casino Hinckley was the place we wanted to get married. All we kept thinking was what a great Grand Casino story!”

The newlyweds received an upgraded Jacuzzi suite in the Grand Casino Hinckley hotel and a fruit and cheese tray from the associates of the casino.

“The staff was extremely helpful and sweet,” Treva said. “It was the perfect wedding destination. They lined up a Justice of Peace, a photographer, a personal attendant, a huge crowd and even a great band to play our first dance. My husband and I are just so thrilled that Grand Casino Hinckley helped us pull this off!”
