Sun Path Elementary School’s PTO and Student Council have teamed up to sponsor a food drive today through Friday.

Food donations will benefit the CAP Agency and the many local families it supports.

Classrooms will compete to see who can bring in the most donated items. Each morning, students can place donations in their classroom’s collection box. Student Council members will help count the items and deliver them to the office. The top three classes that donate the most items at the end of the food drive will each win a prize.

To ensure that a variety of items is collected, each day of the week has a theme. Today was supper items, Tuesday is lunch items, Wednesday is fruits and vegetables, Thursday is toiletries and Friday is breakfast items.
