Think you’re fast on a mountain bike? Can your time hold up to those of other competitors? Are you up for the challenge?

Then compete in the “Murphy Mountain Bike Sprint Series” from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, Aug. 6, 13 and 20 at Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve in Savage.

Mountain bike on one of the most challenging single-track courses in the Twin Cities area. The event is a series of three 10-mile time trials. The series runs in time trial format and there will be awards and door prizes each week.

Race-day registration begins at 5:30 p.m., start time is 6:30 p.m. Helmets are required for all participants.

The Murphy Mountain Bike Sprint Series is co-sponsored by Three Rivers Park District and Freewheel Bike. Cost is $10 and it is open to ages 14 and older. To pre-register, call (763) 559-6700 and reference activity 32373500.
