The Savage Police Department is hoping a sketch will
bring forward new information relating to the sexual assault last month
of a 13-year-old girl in a park in that city.

Investigators have released a drawing of the suspect, based on the victim’s description.

The girl told police she was confronted at Schroeder’s Acres Park,
12320 Boone Ave., in the northwestern part of Savage at 11:30 p.m.
Sept. 10 by an unknown male. She described the man as being tall and
slender with chin-length dark hair and a thin mustache. He may talk
with a slight accent and have a darker complexion.

Anyone who has seen a man matching this description should
immediately call the Savage Police Department at (952) 882-2600 or call
911. Any suspicious activity that has been observed at the park also
should be reported.
