The Scott County Historical Society hosts a special Halloween party just for girls at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Scott County Historical Society, 235 S. Fuller St. in Shakopee.

Those who grew up in the 1950s and ’60s will remember that neighborhood backyards, garages and basements were perfect spots for homemade spook houses. Learn what made a spook house scary and create items to scare your family and friends.

After the activities, enjoy tea and treats in the historic Stans House. Join in the fun and share memories with the significant girl(s) in your family. And of course, bring your favorite doll.

The cost for the event is $10 for adults and $7 for girls – dolls can attend for free.

Register by calling (952) 445-0378 or online at www.scottcountyhistory.org [1].
