Incumbent commissioner Joe Wagner of Sand Creek Township has retaken the lead in the First District County Commissioner race, with 56 percent of the vote. With 6 of 11 precincts reporting, Wagner has 1,469 votes. Challenger Ralph Malz of Blakeley Township, a former comissioner, has 1,122 votes.
