apple with black dotted spotsSo my co-worker Mary was eating this apple she purchased last weekend at a fruit stand and she noticed this weird mark on it. Does anyone know what would have caused this? She tried rubbing it and it wouldn't come off. The orchard was in western Wisconsin. It recently snowed in the area. Perhaps it has something to do with that?
