Moderator Chip Menke counted hands during a motion to table the treasurer's report Tuesday night at the annual Louisville Township meeting. Determining the proper rules for handling the motion was no easy task. Did it require a majority or super-majority vote?

"This is why I don't want this job!" Menke exclaimed, garnering many laughs.

Amidst pouring rain and loud cracks of lightning, Shakopee firefighters responded to a fire call about 8:20 p.m. Monday at a duplex on Third Avenue, between Prairie and Dakota Streets. Information wasn't readily available, but the townhome appears to have been struck by lightning.
