Environmental learning center still $20,000 short

The Shakopee Environmental Learning Center might be mid-construction but the $216,000 project still hasn’t reached its final fundraising goal. Shakopee High School Assistant Principal Paul Nettesheim updated the board Monday on the building’s construction, which is being funded mainly by grants and donations. Fire destroyed a home just off the shores of Lower Prior Lake Wednesday evening.
