Shakopee - Are We Being Served?
Just wanting to gather opinions and thoughts on how the citizenry feels our elected officials are doing at representing us in city government. Also, what do you think of the unelected folks who serve in other public service commission. My preference is that we not attack anyone personally. I feel that we have a fairly serious lack of vision in our leadership and a desire to protect the status quo. But, that's only me.
UPDATE: Man killed in crash near Jordan identified
David D. Brekke, 59, of Eden Prairie was killed Wednesday afternoon just south of Jordan when his pickup truck pulled out from a stop sign in front of a semitrailer truck and was struck broadside, according to the State Patrol. The Minnesota unemployment rate declined to a seasonally adjusted 6.7 percent in January, according to figures released today by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).
