The really sad thing here is that the lesson that we should have learned from the events in Tucson is to tone down the tenor of our rhetoric and our discussions. You know …disagree without malice and anger. I am seriously not a Sarah Palin fan…I mean really the woman strikes me as not very intelligent. However, I don’t think it’s in anyone’s best interest to lay blame at her door…or anyone else’s door. The tone of this discussion seems pretty heated. Hey everyone - disagree without anger…that IS what our founding fathers did. It’s what we teach our children. We need to practice what we preach.

Ok let’s go back to the original post. If you are going to put a Topic like this out, you have to able to discuss why you believe the subject to be true. This was posted as an Argumentative discussion, so back to CE… Why do you think it is Sarah Palin’s or anyone elses fault, other then the Whack Job who did it?

Big Phish- You had an opportunity to stop with your first sentence but you didn’t. Anybody who has been reading this blog knows how it started. No need for one more parting shot. Both sides of the aisle have decided to find common ground. I think we should too!! We all just need to review our comments before we post. Make our point and move on.

I do Pray and Thank God that Congresswoman Gifford is coming along better then expected. I think she is in route to Houston for further rehab.
The only reason this topic was even started was to make a lot of people mad, and I went right along like a dog looking for a fight.
If you believe that Glen Beck, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, and conservative talk shows caused this horrible event… I guess I will have to just say a prayer for those people as well, because staying mad helps no one.
