Students aboard a Shakopee school bus that was involved in a crash on 17th Avenue this morning are fine, but the driver of the other vehicle was injured, according to Shakopee police. Construction continues on a handful of Shakopee houses being constructed by Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. The organization is looking for 75 volunteers over a three-day period, Sept. 14-16. The Chanhassen woman killed in a one-vehicle crash late Saturday in Carver has been identified. Bridgette Twining, 18, died at scene, according to the Carver County Sheriff’s Office.
