A large truck rollover on southbound Interstate Highway 35W near Blackdog Road is blocking traffic, according to Minnesota Department of Transportation officials. Canterbury remains closed, but judge rules that Minnesota Zoo can open
Ramsey County District Court Judge Kathleen Gearin ruled against Canterbury Park, but she ruled today that the Minnesota Zoo can remain open during the state government shutdown. The zoo announced that it will open at 9 a.m. Sunday. Zoo officials said a statute declaring admissions revenue to be a permanent appropriation means the facility could continue functioning without new state money.
