It has been 38 years since the Supreme Court ruled on Roe Vs Wade and legalized abortion. Well, one of the arguments made by the left was abortion was being done in back alleys and they needed to make abortion legal so it was "safe". Well, news out of Philadelphia reveals that abortion is not safe. Some doctor has been charged with multiple counts of murder in relation to botched abortions and a mother dying from the procedure. There is also info coming out that medical certifications were not kept up to date. This does not surprise me. Abortions are just as dangerous when given the staus of "legal" as when they are illegal. But please don't think this is an isolated incident. Botched abortions and mothers dying are part of the routine for abortion mills.

Another aspect of legalized abortion is quite simple. We as a civilized society should protect our most innocent. Who is the most innocent? Unborn children are the most innocent and the most defenseless amoung us. And for us to turn our backs and let them be killed before they have a chance to enjoy life and the pursuit of liberty and happiness is vile and their blood will be on our hands.

First I'm suppose to be "civil", then I'm suppose to "move on", and now I need to "get a life". When I get my "life", I will post again so you can tell me my next step! Might take some time... so be patient.

Take Care All!!

The question to my friend was basically, do you value an animals life more then the human life. By my friend saying that the animal killer should be killed and abortion is someone killing a fetus and calling it a choice. That is the whole thing in a nut shell

Big Phish - you are comparing after birth animals, independent of their mother to pre-birth humans, wholly dependent upon their mother. That is NOT a valid comparision and has nothing to do with which species is valued more. Let's keep the discussion to humans just for the sake of arguement. I go back to my previous arguement - if women can be legally compelled to carry to term a baby living in their own body in order to prevent the destruction of that future life. Then, we should be legally be compelled to donate organs where needed to prevent the destruction of that current life. Would you agree. I have not had an abortion and doubt that it's a happy choice for anyone. You and I clearly disagree. But, I respect your opinion and your passion about it.

It really should be Pro-Life and Anti-Life. The choice is to end life or not. Take a guess on which side I am on!!! It will be tough.

You are wrong, Pat. It is 4 out of 5 doctors recommend the sugarless gum.

I'm certainly not going to get involved in this discussion other than to say that this male is pro-choice. Might as well end this discussion. Neither side is going to budge. Move on people.

Interesting observation ...

Of the men taking a stand in this discussion, how many appear to be anti-choice?

And how many are pro-choice?

Of the women taking a stand in this discussion, how many appear to be anti-choice?

And how many are pro-choice?

According to: The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) Privacy and Security Rules http://www.hhs.gov/ocr/privacy/

enforced by The Office for Civil Rights (OCR) http://www.hhs.gov/open/contacts/ocr.html

United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) http://www.hhs.gov/

Health Information Privacy:

The Office for Civil Rights enforces the HIPAA Privacy Rule, which protects the privacy of individually identifiable health information; the HIPAA Security Rule, which sets national standards for the security of electronic protected health information; and the confidentiality provisions of the Patient Safety Rule, which protect identifiable information being used to analyze patient safety events and improve patient safety.

The HIPAA Privacy Rule provides federal protections for personal health information held by covered entities and gives patients an array of rights with respect to that information. At the same time, the Privacy Rule is balanced so that it permits the disclosure of personal health information needed for patient care and other important purposes.

So, yeah, it's clearly a civil rights violation.

Minimalize the comparision all you want, but you know it is a true statement.

Ok. How do you feel about expanded funding for Head Start? Expanded funding for the federal WIC program? How can we reduce the number of homeless children in America? Healthcare reform will give millions of children access to medical care. How do you feel about that? Do the same people that rally at the capital on the roe v wade anniversary also come to rallies for more funding for poor children?

Liar? Me? I do not think my pants are on fire.

Being denied a medical procedure on his own body? Sounds like a severe invasion of the man's privacy and rights.

I remember when i was a kid growing up in the 70's, the modern day feminists pro-aborts used the term "blob of tissue mass" to desrcibe an unborn baby. Since then, I have had 4 kids and had ultra sounds with all 4 and I realized that an unborn baby is not a blob of tissue mass. Another liberal lie thrust into the American vernacular by modern day feminists and their friends in the media. Look at the science and realize that the life of an unborn baby begins at conception.

turbo, I am calling you out on one of the biggest lies around. What you said is a down right lie and how dare you. Show me some proof for that statement. Liar.

I won't divulge the name. But if you call 3 or 4 urologist offices tomorrow I'd suggest flat out asking them if they require a spousal signature to get a vasectomy? This really wouldnt be too difficult to prove or disprove.

Also...google it as well and some of the explanations are that some doctors don't want to get sued by some guys wife. However the abortion doctors have no fear of getting sued by a father.

I wish the pro-life movement cared after the baby was born. All we get from them is more puppy and kitten distractions.

This is just a guess, but I'm willing to bet $100 that the majority of PETA volunteers/employees are pro-abortion.
